Lucky for us, we live in Girona and here there are lots of places to visit because it’s a beautiful city with very old and important monuments. There are lots of tourist routes, lots of shops, lots of landmarks, lots of legends and lots of historical streets.
Our class were
asked which places or monuments they would recomended to visit. And these are the
ones they chose.
Girona Cathedral –
Built in different styles and it preserves elements of the first Romanesque
building. Is the widest gothic nave in the world, with a width of 22 metres. It’s located
in the middle of Barri Vell and it has 90 steps.
Wall itinerary – Incredible
stroll along the path running around the ancient walls dating from Charlemagne
and early medieval times, and bordering the historic centre on the east. This
is certainly the ideal setting to enjoy spectacular views of the city.
The ramblas – It’s
a place where people meet to have a cup of tea, for a walk, look shops, enjoy
the antiquity of the area.

I liked this section because I think Girona is very special. It is a city, but also resemble a large town. It's very familiar and there is all that is needed. Júlia1C
